Share a Milkshake (for CCMC804)

Our challenge at Create With Connie & Mary this week is a color combination that immediately made me think of Rainbow Sherbet! So I got out Share a Milkshake and blended up a rainbow shake using these three colors:

Details & Directions:
  • Thick Basic White Cardstock, 11″x 4-1/4″, folded at 5-1/2″
  • Bee Mine DSP, Sweet Sorbet, 5-1/4″x 4″
  • Bee Mine DSP, Daffodil Delight, 4″x 2″
    • Crop with Basic Borders Die across the top and glue to the bottom of the Sorbet panel.
  • Basic White Cardstock for stamping milkshake, whipped cream, cherry, and straws
    • Use Sweet Sorbet, Lemon Lime Twist, and Daffodil Delight ink pads and Sponge Daubers to create the rainbow sherbet look.
    • Stamp over the colored milkshake with the lined stamp and Versamark Ink, then heat emboss with Clear Embossing Powder. I added a little Smoky Slate to the bottom of the glass.
    • Emboss the whipped cream with Splatters 3D Embossing Folder.
    • Color the cherry with Stampin’ Write Markers and crop.
    • Stamp the straws with Lemon Lime Twist and crop.

  • For the sentiment, stamp it with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
  • Cover the envelope flap with some Sweet Sorbet 6″x 6″ In Color DSP.
