Corner Bookmarks

How adorable are these corner bookmarks made with Bee Mine Designer Series Paper?! They go together quickly and easily, and you can make them with any DSP (although some with a non-directional pattern is easier!) Here are four samples of what I made:

I learned how to make these by watching Julie DiMatteo of paperpixie.com. I would encourage you to watch her YouTube video to see how they go together. Here are the measurements:

  • Double-sided DSP (with one side being non-directional) 5″x 3″ in landscape orientation
  • Basic White Cardstock 2″x 2″
  • Your choice of decoration!

That’s it! Two score lines, fold & burnish, snip, fold, & glue. So easy!

For my decoration, I pulled out an older Valentine die set and cut a Sweet Sorbet heart. I glued that to the white square, added a fussy-cut bee from Bee Mine DSP and a little love message in the corner. If you are interested and have saved some older sets, my heart die came from Stitched Be Mine Dies, and my sentiment from Valentine Keepsakes.

I purposefully left off any embellishments that would create bulk, since this is a bookmark. I wanted everything to stay flat.

OK, how can you not smile at that?!!! šŸ˜Š

Have a love-ly ā¤ļø weekend!
