Autumn Opulence (for CSF937)

At Create with Stamping Friends this week, we have a sketch challenge. I cut into my Autumn Opulence Specialty DSP for the first time to make a Thanksgiving card and I am in love with this paper!

Here’s our sketch:

My recipe:
  • Pecan Pie Cardstock (what a great color name for a Thanksgiving card! ☺️), 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″ folded at 4-1/4″
  • More Pecan Pie for a base layer, 5-1/4″x 4″ and for layer behind the DSP, 2-3/4″x 2-3/4″
  • Autumn Opulence Specialty DSP, (pumpkin print) 2-5/8″x 2-5/8″, and (check print) 2 @ 1″x 2-3/8″ with sides flagged
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock for sentiment from Soiree Salutations, 2-1/4″x 1/2″, ends flagged, and sentiment stamped with Pecan Pie ink
  • Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack, Crumb Cake, tied in a bow
  • Adhesive-backed gems

Inside:

  • Autumn Opulence DSP strip, 1/2″x 5″

I glued the checked pieces on the sides of my focal square, then popped the whole thing up on Dimensionals to adhere. It’s a simple and classic design. I hope you like it!
