Wisteria Wishes As An Acacia!

I had not planned to post today, but as I looked out the window at our neighbor’s spectacular Acacia tree, I was inspired to pull out this stamp set and create a note card with Wisteria Wishes as an Acacia!

Every Spring we are dazzled by the beauty of this tree! It had a twin next to it that came down in one of our heavy wind storms, but this one held on and I’m so glad. Here’s my card that came from all that ~

It works, don’t you think?!

Details:
  • Basic White Note Card & Envelope
  • Daffodil Delight Cardstock layer, 4-3/4″x 3″
  • Garden Green layer, 4-5/8″x 2-7/8″
  • Basic White Cardstock, 4-1/2″x 2-3/4″
  • Stamp Set: Wisteria Wishes
  • Dies: Wisteria Dies
  • Ink: Garden Green and Daffodil Delight for the tree and Memento Tuxedo Black for the sentiment
  • Envelope Flap: (retired) Wonderful World DSP

All is stamped flat onto the white layer except for the top Wisteria/Acacia blooms which were stamped separately and die cut, then popped up with Dimensionals.

Super easy, just the way I like a note card to be!

I hope you’re seeing some pops of Spring color where you are! If not yet, perhaps soon!

Look HERE and HERE to see Wisteria Wishes with different colors on my blog!

So pretty both the photo and your card! I received my goodies yesterday, thank you! I need to make a birthday card for the person who had the barn quilt painting get together. I think this might be fun and cute. She is also an SU demo and real crafty.

  2. Wow. Love this card.

  3. Wow, Karen…what beautiful inspiration right outside your window! Your inspired card is equally beautiful, too.

    • Yes, it is such a gorgeous tree! The blooms are a bit later this year and unfortunately they don’t last long, so we try to enjoy it for the short time it is in bloom. Thanks!

  4. Karen,
I love that you made the flowers yellow! Every time I think of this stamp set, I picture pink and purple. I plan on CASEing this card. Thank you for inspiring me! I love lupines, so I use this flower for lupines as well.
