Sun Prints

We end the month of May with a sketch challenge at Create With Connie & Mary. As easy as last week’s card was, this one was way more challenging for me! But that’s what I enjoy about these sketches – they really stretch my creativity!

I decided to work with the Sun Prints Suite Collection for this. I love the combination of blues and gray in this suite. Here is my card.

This leafy wreath is really pretty! It cuts and embosses the veins into the leaves.

I wanted some dark blue embellishments to use in the upper left corner, but hadn’t received my new In Color Dots yet, so I resorted to our old method – coloring pearls with Blends! You know, it stills works perfectly!

This last photo was taken before I added the bow. I decided to use it to see which version I preferred – bow or no bow? I obviously went with the bow, but am curious to know which you prefer. What do you think? Bow or no bow?

While you’re pondering that question (lol!) let’s hop over to Create With Connie & Mary to see what the rest of the designers created with this sketch!

Thanks for visiting today! Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. See you next week,
