You’re a Peach

Happy Monday to you! I hope you had a nice weekend. I am working my way through the new Designer Series Papers and have landed on You’re a Peach today. This paper is scrumptious!

I learned how to make this corner pocket card from watching Julie Davison and thought I’d give it a try. Here’s my Corner Pocket Card ~

Materials & Measurements

• Cajun Craze Cardstock, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4
• You’re a Peach DSP, 5-1/4″x 4″
• Cajun Craze Cardstock, 3-1/2″x 3-1/2″, cut in half diagonally
• You’re a Peach DSP, 3-1/4″x 3-1/4″, cut in half diagonally
• White Cardstock, 3-1/4″x 8-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
• Petal Pink 2021-22 DSP, 3″x 4″
• Cajun Craze Cardstock, 2-1/4″ scalloped square
• White Cardstock, 2-1/8″ square
• Scraps for Pretty Perennials flower and leaves

The fun thing about this card is the pocket! You make a smaller card to fit in the pocket. When you pull the card out, you get a good look at this beautiful floral paper.

To glue the pocket into place, use Tear & Tape only on the two outside edges. Leave the center open to create the pocket.

On the inside, I stamped the birthday greeting using Pretty Perennials and the flowers from Sweet As A Peach.

“Hello There” is from Sweet Strawberry, stamped with Cajun Craze. The Perennial Petals colors are Petal Pink, Cajun Craze, and Old Olive.
