The Right Words (#tttc287)

Sadly, I needed to make a sympathy card for a dear friend’s family. This sentiment from The Right Words is exactly what I wanted to say…

Do you remember this paper? It was/still is – an all time favorite of mine. Ever Eden. I still love it so much! I made the card with the new Tic Tac Toe Challenge in mind. Loosely. I realize this is a light shade of green, but could it be called “pastel?” You decide. I’m going for it! Circles/Pastels/Embossing. Maybe it could be considered a neutral 😉 in which case, it’s going vertical — circles/layering/neutral colors.

Here’s the recipe:
  • Evening Evergreen Cardstock (former SU In Color), 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Ever Eden DSP (retired SU), 5-1/4″x 4″
  • Gold Foil Sheet, 4-1/2″x 3-1/4″
  • Ever Eden DSP, 4″x 2-3/4″
  • Ever Eden DSP circle, Spotlight on Nature Dies, 2-3/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock, 2-1/8″ circle
    • Stamp sentiment from The Right Words in Evening Evergreen ink, topped with Versamark ink, and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.
  • Gold Foil sprig from Pretty Florals Dies
  • Brushed Brass Butterfly

  5. A lovely card, I’m sure your friend’s family will appreciate the thought you put into it so much. Thanks for joining us at Tic Tac Toe Challenges. Kerry, DT

  6. This DSP is also one of my all-time favorites, and I also happened to use it recently for a sympathy card. I would consider Evening Evergreen to be a neutral (really hope it returns!) so you’ve got that left column covered, as far as I’m concerned. 🙂
