Velvet Meadow (CASE)

It’s our final July posting at Create with Stamping Friends! Next week we start our August cards with a color challenge. But one more catalog CASE here to end the month! We are using the pretty Velvet Meadow card on page 33 to kick off our inspiration.

What do you do when you don’t have the stamp set for a card you want to CASE? For one thing, you can use the DSP! Here I simply snipped flowers and leaves from the Velvet Meadow Designer Series Paper and made them the focal point.

Here’s my card:

phrases & frames, party banners dies, velvet meadow dsp, csf931, birthday card idea, stampin up, karen hallam

Then you look for a sentiment in the many, many other sets you have… and find just what you’re looking for! ☺️ I found mine in Phrases & Frames.

Colors & Cuts:
  • Cloud Cover Cardstock base, 4-1/4″x 11″, scored and folded at 5-1/2″
  • Velvet Meadow DSP, 4-1/4″x 5-1/2″
  • Bubble Bath Cardstock, Party Banners Die, 3-1/8″x 4-1/8″
