Throwback Thursday: Birthday Cheer

One doesn’t have to go back too far to find this fun birthday stamp and die set. It’s from the 2019 catalog. So, for Throwback Thursday I’m bringing back Birthday Cheer.

There are certain sets that I will always keep, mainly because they are unique or timeless. I got a special request for a birthday card that is going to a 5-year-old girl. The request was “something pink, purple, and sparkly!” So…very 5-year-old girl! Here is the card I created, and I was told, “Perfect!” I guess it fits the bill! 🙂

I’m not sure how far back that pink Glimmer Paper goes, but I still have a stash! The stamp set is Birthday Cheer and the dies are Detailed Birthday Edgelit Dies.

I cut the cupcake edgelit die a few times using various pinks and purples and paper-pieced them into the Whisper White cupcake “frame.” After that, I cropped the sentiment out with a Layering Ovals Die. And for even more sparkle, I added three Glitter Enamel Dots. I wonder if I’ve given her enough glitter?! lol!
