Today I’m mixing a bit of new with a bit of old, and calling it Throwback Thursday. It’s really a mix up of several different years ~ a taste of my craft room, if you will! I am soooo excited about my new (to me) baby bundle, A Little Wild! It’s the “new” in today’s card. I want to give credit to Stesha Bloodhart for this cute layout. My card was inspired by hers, and I followed some of her elements quite closely. Why mess with perfection?!
A Little Wild was new last year, in the 2017-18 Annual Catalog. It is bundled there with Little Loves Framelits Dies (10% discount), but the bundle is retiring. The stamp set and framelits will be carried over to the new catalog, but they will be sold separately only.

A Little Wild Clear Mount Bundle #145328 Page 108, 2017-18 Annual Catalog
Do you see the “old”? That DSP is called Go Wild and it was part of the 2015-16 catalog. And yep, I still have some! I love how the colors and print go with the elephant.
I layered the DSP with Early Espresso cardstock and used thick Whisper White for my base and top layer. You can’t tell, but I used Shimmery White for the elephant and flowers, because it works very well with watercolor.
I watercolored the elephant with Smoky Slate and Blushing Bride, then cut the head off one and layered it to another with Dimensionals.
The grass is Always Artichoke. I watercolored the flowers with So Saffron, Calypso Coral, and Pear Pizzazz.
I did a quick watercolor wash with Sahara Sand to give Mr. Ellie a place to stand.
I did the same on the inside and used another old sentiment from yesteryear, Made With Love, also from 2015-16.
This bundle is just so stinkin’ cute, I am looking forward to using it over and over! Newborn Baby Jax will love it, for sure 🙂 Well, maybe his parents will!
