Sending Smiles (for April Pals Blog Hop)

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is See How My Garden Grows. We hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

There’s nothing prettier than a field full of Spring flowers ~ God’s garden! I’m enjoying a lot of color suddenly here in Northern California. The temps have warmed up and flowers are popping up everywhere 🥰.

For the theme, How does your garden grow?, I picked an online exclusive DSP, Meandering Meadows 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper. The sentiment and daisy are from Sending Smiles Stamp Set + Sending Dies, both on the Last Chance Product List.

Details:

I started with a 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″ piece of Thick Basic White Cardstock, folded at 4-1/4″. To the front I glued a 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″ panel of Meandering Meadows.

Then I cut “Sending” and its shadow die with Lemon Lolly Cardstock and Vellum (also retiring), and glued it toward the top of the card front.

“Sunshine to brighten your day” is on Basic White Cardstock, stamped with Garden Green ink. I adhered it with a skinny strip of Foam Adhesive Sheet.

The daisy is Lemon Lolly on White with a Crushed Curry center. I stamped the stem and leaves with Garden Green on Garden Green Cardstock and cropped it with the coordinating die.

For just a hint of sparkle, I added three Lemon Lolly Solid Gems.

On the inside, I glued the remaining strip of DSP to the bottom. I’ll wait to stamp the inside when I decide who I’ll send the card to!

Last Chance!

Sending Smiles Stamp Set, Sending Dies, and the Vellum Cardstock are all retiring soon. You can see all of the Last Chance Products with many discounts by clicking HERE.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be Fun Family Occasions.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.
