Alpine Winter (for CSF 945)

Welcome back to Create with Stamping Friends! Our November challenges begin with a sketch. I’m using Alpine Winter DSP to feature pinecones on this square card.

Here’s our sketch:

And here’s my pinecone card:

soiree salutations, alpine winter dsp, tile garden dies, winter card idea, csf 945, stampin up, karen hallam

I love this for any winter occasion! Here’s my recipe:

  • Peaceful Pine Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 4-1/4″, folded in half at 4-1/4″, top fold
  • Alpine Winter DSP, 4-1/4″x 4-1/4″
  • Peaceful Pine Cardstock, 2-3/4″x 2-3/4″ square, cropped with Tile Garden Dies
  • Basic White Cardstock, 2-1/8″ x 2-1/8″ square, cropped with Tile Garden Dies
  • Peaceful Pine Cardstock, 1-3/4″x 1/2″ for sentiment, cropped with Word of Beauty Dies
  • DSP, hand cut a pinecone from the paper and attach with Dimensionals
  • Linen Thread bow, attached with a Mini Glue Dot
  • 3 Adhesive-backed Snowflakes

soiree salutations, alpine winter dsp, tile garden dies, winter card idea, csf 945, stampin up, karen hallam

The sentiment I used is from Soiree Salutations. I stamped it with Versamark, sprinkled it with white embossing powder, and heat set it. The sentiment is also adhered with Dimensionals.

OK, now it’s time to see more inspiration from our talented designer group at Create with Stamping Friends! Click HERE.
