Prayers & Promises Sympathy Card

I have a sympathy card to share with you today that I made using Prayers & Promises and some new paper. This fancy fold was part of Jeanie Stark’s Mystery Stampin’ last week. Even though I wasn’t able to join in last week, I knew I wanted to try it anyway. And I love the way this turned out. I used the new Country Cottage DSP, available today!

Here’s what I used:
  • Secret Sea Cardstock, 5-1/2″x 6″, 1-3/4″x 4-1/4″, and  1-3/4″x 3″
  • Country Cottage DSP, 1-1/2″x 5-1/4″, 1-1/2″x 4″, 1-1/2″x 2-3/4″ and 5-1/4″x 4″ for the inside
  • Basic White Cardstock, 2-3/4″x 2-3/4″ for the inside, and 2-3/4″x 2-1/4″ for the front
  • Beautifully Celebrated Dies, 2-3/4″x 2-1/4″

Layer the the DSP sections to the cardstock mats. Overlap each in descending order by 1/2″, gluing just the left edge to the section to its left. The smallest section on the right should match the right edge of the card. Glue the 5-1/4″x 4″ DSP to the inside and the 2-3/4″x 2-3/4″ white piece on top and in the center of the DSP, making sure it isn’t visible from the front with the card closed. Decorate as desired.
