Pretty Poinsettia (for CSF934)

We have a color challenge today at Create with Stamping Friends! These three pretty colors screamed floral to me, so I am showing a Christmas card today with the Pretty Poinsettia Bundle.

Here’s our color scheme:

And here’s my Pretty Poinsettia card:

If you are wondering where you’ve seen this layout before, congratulations! You pass the observation test! 😄 Remember last month when I posted this card and said I had made it for CSF before realizing it wasn’t available to purchase anymore? I loved the layout of that card and simply CASEd my own card to create this new one –  and this bundle IS available to purchase!

My Recipe:
  • Thick Basic White Cardstock base, 11″x 4-1/4″, scored and folded at 5-1/2″
  • Berry Burst Cardstock, 3-5/8″x 4-7/8″
  • Garden Green Cardstock, 3-3/8″x 4-5/8″
  • Basic White Cardstock, 3-1/4″x 4-1/2″
    • Stamp “tis the SEASON” from Pretty Poinsettias in Golden Glow, then fill in the color with Golden Glow Blends.
  • Garden Green Cardstock for leaves, 3-1/2″x 3″
  • Berry Burst Cardstock for the poinsettia petals, 3-1/4″x roughly 9″
    • Crop the leaves and petals out using Pretty Poinsettia Dies, then run them through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Impressions Plate for eye-popping dimension!
  • Golden Glow scrap for flower center
  • 2026-2028 In Color Dots in Golden Glow

If you have not yet purchased the Impressions Plate, all I can say is, “Get it!” The dimension you achieve with this plate is just amazing!
