Glow of Harvest Specialty DSP

I mentioned yesterday how beautiful the Glow of Harvest Specialty DSP, our August Product-of-the-Month, is. Today I’m showing you a card I made with one of the sheets. These colors are just so pretty!

I made a fun fold that was the style of the first fun fold I ever made. It’s a gatefold card with a belly band. I hadn’t made one in years. When I received one in the mail as part of a card swap, it prompted me to make one again.

My Recipe:

• Cajun Craze Cardstock, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 2-1/8″ from either side
• Golden Glow Cardstock layer (2), 5-1/4″x 1-7/8″
• Glow of Harvest DSP layer (2), 5-1/8″x 1-3/4″

 

• Inside ~ Golden Glow Cardstock layer, 5-1/4″x 4″
• Basic White Cardstock, 5-1/8″x 3-7/8″
• Glow of Harvest DSP strip, 3-7/8″x 1/2″
• Cajun Craze Cardstock strip, 3-7/8″x 1/8″

 

• Belly Band ~ Cajun Craze Cardstock strip, 9-1/2″x 1″
  • Wrap this around the card, beginning in the back, overlapping in the front middle, and securing with a piece of Tear & Tape.
• Everyday Arches Die, 2-1/4″x 3-1/2″ Cajun Craze Cardstock
• Everyday Arches Die, 1-15/16″x 3-3/16″ Glow of Harvest DSP
• Stylish Shapes Die, 2-3/4″x 1-5/8″ banner, Basic White Cardstock
  • Stamp the sentiment from Elegant Leaves (available Sept. 1) with Cajun Craze ink.
• Linen Thread faux bow under the sentiment strip
• Painted Patch Adhesive-backed Dots (available Sept. 1) in Cajun Craze
