Pals Blog Hop: Winter Wonderland

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the Pals have been busy creating cozy, frosty, whimsical card ideas and paper crafts for our Winter Wonderland theme — using our favorite Stampin’ Up! goodies. Each project brings a different twist, and that’s what makes the hop feel like a stroll through a creative winter village. If you’re looking for inspiration (or maybe a reason to stay inside with your craft supplies), this hop is for you!

I’ve chosen Nests of Winter for my card today. I fussy cut a few of the sweet little birds out of the paper and placed them around a great winter wish from the Branching Out Stamp Set.

Here’s my card:

Dimensions & Details:
  • Thick Basic White Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock top layer, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″, embossed with Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder
  • Lost Lagoon Cardstock, 3-1/2″x 2-3/4″
  • Nests of Winter DSP, 3-3/8″x 2-5/8″
  • Birds, pinecones, and sprigs hand cut from Nests of Winter DSP
    • Birds adhered with Dimensionals
  • Sentiment from Ornamental Christmas, stamped with Lost Lagoon ink
    • Stamped on Basic White Cardstock and cut to 1/4″ wide strip, divided after peace and glued to DSP
On the Inside:

  • Branch from Branching Out, stamped with Pecan Pie ink
  • Bird hand cut from Nests of Winter DSP and glued down

I love these winter birds! And the DSP looks like a snowy sky. Perfect for a winter wonderland card!
