Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “Home for the Holidays”. We really hope that you enjoy and are inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I do enjoy the non-traditional holiday colors. But I guess I’m more of a traditionalist, because when it comes right down to it, I want my Christmas cards to have some shades of red and green! This Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper is lovely with its Evening Evergreen and Cherry Cobbler colors.
Card Details
- Evening Evergreen Cardstock base – 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
- Crumb Cake Cardstock layer – 5″x 3-3/4″
- Tidings of Christmas DSP – 4-7/8″x 3-5/8″ (Crumb Cake print), 4-7/8″x 3-5/8″ cut on an angle (Evergreen print)
- Cherry Cobbler Cardstock – two slivers, approximately 4″x 1/16″, scrap for berry sprigs Christmas Trimmings die
- Soft Succulent Cardstock – scrap for two holly leaves from Christmas Trimmings Dies
- Very Vanilla Cardstock – 3″ square for Hippo & Friends Die, 5-1/4″x 4″ for inside
- Holiday Rhinestones
- Linen Thread, wrapped three times and tied in a bow on the left side
I stamped “Merry Christmas” from the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set in Cherry Cobbler.
It wouldn’t be a Christmas card to me without some bling. The Cherry Cobbler Holiday Rhinestones are perfect for that bit of sparkle and to serve as the holly berries.
My inside stamps are from the Tidings & Trimmings Stamp Set. I used the Bundle on this card, with the holly leaves and berry sprigs from the coordinating dies.
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on December 8th. Our theme will be “My Favorite Things” with our design team showcasing some of their favorite products from any catalog they choose.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
