Season’s Blessings Fun Fold

I love fun folds! There’s just that unexpected factor that makes the card, well… fun! Today I’ve used Season’s Blessings and Heartwarming Hugs DSP to make this Season’s Blessings Fun Fold card.

I guess you might call this a Z-Fold card. You start with a regular 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″ card base, then you add an extra score/fold at 2-1/8″, folding it in the opposite direction. Two pieces of DSP cut at 2″x 5-1/8″ are both visible when you open up the card. I love the depth of color in this paper!

The Centerpiece

To make the basket of flowers, I first stamped the basket with Crumb Cake then hand-cut it out (although it does come with matching dies in a Bundle.) I wrapped some gold twine around the top of the basket and tied a bow.

I stamped the leaves with Mossy Meadow, then added three poinsettias with Real Red. For two of the flowers, I stamped again on a scrap of Basic White, fussy-cut them out, and adhered them with Dimensionals. “Wishing You Well” is heat embossed with Gold Emboss Powder. Three Wonderful Gems add some sparkle.

The inside message from Heartfelt Wishes is hidden under the front panel. This card could easily be for a holiday, birthday, or thinking of you card. I love the versatility of these stamps. Click here for another card using the Bundle!

The Paper Players

This card fits well into the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge for the Paper Players this week! I chose the diagonal row, left to right, with twine, patterned paper, and embellishments. Here is the challenge banner ~
