My daughter recently moved to a cute little town in the Pacific Northwest that sits at the base of a majestic mountain. A happy new home card is in order, and I have the perfect stamps to create a scene that could be the view from her front yard!
I mean, who wouldn’t want to wake up to this view every morning?! Yes, please! 🙂
Card Details:
- Snow Front Stamp Set for the mountain in Gray Granite, the pine trees in Shaded Spruce, fall trees in Crumb Cake/Bumble Bee, and grass in Just Jade
- Coming Home Bundle for the condo and car, stamped in Basic Gray and colored with Blends
- Sentiment from retired stamp set, Holiday Home
- Roadway from retired stamp set, Timeless Textures
More Details:
- The card base is Thick Whisper White Cardstock.
- I layered the top Whisper White to Shaded Spruce Cardstock.
- Before stamping the trees, I stamped the condo, then made a mask to cover it. With the mask in place, I could easily position the trees to look like they were behind the condo.
- I added Fine-Tip Glue to all of the windows to make them look like glass.
This was so much fun to create! I love making scenes on cards, and making them resemble the recipient’s surroundings is even more fun. Give it a try! If you would like to purchase any of the supplies I mentioned, they are listed below and linked to my online store. Just click and shop! And when you do, please enter my Host Code: GY3TDPN2 (for November) or the current code for a later purchase. Thank you!
Here is another idea for using the Coming Home Bundle on a card.
Have a great weekend! Time to get that turkey thawed!
