My Heart is Grateful

My heart is grateful for you! I love that sentiment! It comes in the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set. I’ve heat embossed it with Copper Emboss Powder onto a Copper Foil heart. The result is subtle, but very pretty, I think!

This Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP is so gorgeous with it’s copper and gold metallic accents. I’ve picked up on both in this design with the Stitched Be Mine Dies. There is also a strand of Gold-edged Vanilla ribbon under the gold hearts die.

I layered the front DSP piece onto Cajun Craze then glued it to a Cinnamon Cider base. The small gold foil hearts are the ones that fell out of the die when I ran it through the die cut machine. It gives you lots of hearts and I’m saving them for other projects!

This was actually very tricky to photograph. The foil heart reflects everything above it, including the camera! and the lights, etc. But if I angled it just right and turned the lights away from it, you can see it pretty well. If you like shiny, this card is for you!

I hope everyone has a good weekend! We are headed up the hill to spend a couple of nights at Donner Lake. Anyone remember their Gold Rush history lessons on the Donner Party? Not such a pleasant story but now it’s a beautiful setting and we will enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake. Our smoky air has cleared and I’m hoping it continues to be clear for the next few days. We are looking forward to the fresh air and relaxation. I’ll be back later next week.
