I love a good plaid! Plaid Tidings 6″x 6″ DSP has a fantastic selection of colors for all the different seasons. I picked this Peacock/Spruce plaid to be a fun backdrop to the Pine Woods Dies. Here are Plaid Tidings and Pine Trees.
Just Jade Cardstock compliments the plaid and the Pretty Peacock card base. I’ve embossed it with the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder. The greeting comes from In The Pines Stamp Set, which is also bundled with the Pine Woods Dies.
The light blue rhinestones in the Holiday Rhinestone pack are the perfect color to pick up the light blue in the paper.
I love the simplicity of this card. Simple, yet lots of elements. It might make the cut for my next card kit! That will be coming soon, so watch for it!
But for now, back to the lakefront! Yes, it’s still “summer” here just a little bit longer!

Karen – you have used all of my favorites in this card!! Pretty Peacock and Just Jade, the plaid paper, the Evergreen embossing folder and the In The Pines stamp set. The combination has certainly created an interesting, fun and beautiful card!
Love this fun card. The plaid placed this way creates such attention. Fun colors too. Trees and embossing ties it all together for a pretty package..
