For my holiday themed project this week, I’ve designed a cute cardstock box that holds four Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes.
This box is a project that I CASEd from Janice Urke. I decorated it differently by using the In The Woods Framelits Dies and All Is Bright Designer Series Paper. I’m just so delighted with the way this turned out!
This cute little dimensional tree comes from one of the framelit dies in In The Woods on page 27 of the 2018 Holiday Catalog. Here is a picture of the whole set.
Of course, you’ll want to purchase it in the Bundle to save 10% when you see the Stamp Set that comes with it! The Bundle is titled Winter Woods Bundle, also on page 27.
Here are some more photos of the box. I used Sahara Sand Cardstock.
The cards inside are just as cute! I used the Narrow Note Card & Envelopes with more of the same trees.
I began by cutting a piece of Shaded Spruce slightly smaller than the pre-cut Note Card. Then I added a Whisper White layer on top, after embossing it with the Softly Falling Textured Embossing Folder. The tree is attached with Mini Dimensionals. I had to cut them in half to place them between the raised layers of branches because the space is pretty small!
I decorated the trees with Santa’s Workshop Enamel Shapes and some red Baker’s Twine. Lastly, I added matching DSP to the envelope flap with a 1/8″ strip of Shaded Spruce.
Wouldn’t this make a wonderful gift for someone this Season? The overall dimensions for the box is 5-1/2″ x 3-1/4″. Let me know if you are interested in having the instructions. With Janice’s permission, I will be happy to share!
Enjoy the rest of your week!

Charming project! Love the box style~and what a great gift! Impeccably created, as always.
Love this. I was sort of like Nancy in not interested as I have lots of trees but still it got my attention. Whether I will splurge (again) and get it, I am not sure. But, I sure do like your project. I love boxes. I really like the mini polka dots – both on the box and the envelopes. So fun! I like this style of card and the envelopes but I think I need to stick to mailable ones. I love the layers and embossing too. Just really special. I am wondering if the tree is too big for the note card size. Great job!
I would love the instructions. Would probably adapt to the mailable note card.
Oh . . . I am moving this bundle from not interested right up to the A-List! I love this tree so much.
Have a blessed day.
