First Frost for PP411

I found a Paper Players Challenge this morning that I decided to enter, but realized that today is the deadline. Quick! A second post for me today! Here is my card ~

And here is the sketch challenge for the Paper Players – PP411 challenge ~

Materials:

Paper ~ Tranquil Tide Cardstock, Mint Macaron Cardstock, Soft Suede Cardstock, Shimmery White Cardstock, Tranquil Textures DSP, Frosted Floral Specialty DSP

Stamp Sets ~ Rooted in Nature, First Frost

Die Cuts ~ Frosted Bouquet Framelits, Layering Ovals Framelits

Ink ~ Tranquil Tide, Soft Suede

Embellishments ~ Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets

I wanted to show you this close-up to give you an idea of the shimmer on this card! The DSP is gorgeous with its elegant designs on shimmery white paper. I stamped the sentiment on Shimmery White cardstock. Can you see the subtle sparkle? It’s also on the wood cut as well. You have to move it in the light to get the full effect. It is so pretty!

Thanks for stopping by – again! If you missed my earlier post, you can see it here. And once again, have a very nice weekend!

  1. Very pretty…that paper certainly is gorgeous and I love that sentiment! Thanks so much for sharing this with the Players this week!

  2. Lovely, Karen! Love the colour scheme and the use of the log as the circular element. Thanks for squeezing in this week at The Paper Players!

  3. Great sparkle and shine! Tranquil tide to the shiny rescue. I have those frosted and clear droplets ordered and I am excited to see them on a card. They look great here but you know what I mean. Great job on the sketch.
