Are you ready for some bright and happy? I just happen to have some for you ~
Love this explosion of color! Happiness Blooms is the very appropriately named DSP on this card. I used two prints and divided them with Night of Navy. I glued a piece of Vellum underneath the front panel to do two things: 1) soften the background ever so slightly, and 2) give more focus on the sentiment thinlit.
On the inside, I stamped a greeting from the Incredible Like You stamp set in Night of Navy. Then I gave a nod to the Pineapple Punch on the front of the card with a small Happiness Blooms Enamel Dot.
I hope this card puts you in the mood to celebrate someone amazing in your life! If you would like to create a card like this, you can order from my Product List below. Karen, I love this card. The colors are fabulous.
A type of bright green, navy, and a yellow are one of my favorite color combos. But, when I saw the paper I thought ummmm not a fan. But, you revived my thought process and I love the card! I used the gumball green, midnight muse, and daffodil yellow so much that one season maybe I was just tired of it? Whatever, this is so fun, bright and cheery. Totally something I would have done before. The vellum is a fun aspect of sort of taming it down and focusing on the sentiment. This is what I would call a riot of color or a color explosion and even carried inside the card. Love those enamel dots! Just a totally fun card!
Thanks, Chris! It is definitely an explosion of color! I’m having fun with these bright, bold prints.
