Hello! I feel like I haven’t been crafting for weeks (but it’s actually only been one week – crazy, yes?) I hope you all had a good Memorial Day Weekend! We had our kids from Idaho and Washington come down for the weekend and it was a blast!
This week I’m playing with Frames & Flowers DSP. This is a pack of DSP + punch out pieces that you can use to embellish your cards. It’s a fun idea and you can make zillions, yes zillions!, of different designs with these. Today I’ve made a Frames & Flowers Get Well card with some of the pieces along with the beautiful Unbounded Love Dies. Here it is ~
Pretty, right? The DSP does the heavy lifting on this one.
Here are all the details:
- Garden Green Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
- Granny Apple Green Cardstock layer, 5″x 3-3/4″
- Frames & Flowers DSP, 4-7/8″x 3-5/8″
- Petal Pink Cardstock, Unbounded Love Dies: scalloped oval, 2-5/8″x 1-7/8″
- Basic White Cardstock, Unbounded Love Dies: smaller oval
- Stamp with Garden Green ink and So Sincere Stamp Set.
- Adhere with Dimensionals.
- Frames & Flowers punched out leaf piece
- Frames & Flowers punched out flowers, three
- Give these a little lift by pressing down in the center with a blunt-edged tool, such as the back of a Paper Piercer, and adhere with a Dimensional in the center.
- Add a little shine with three brown sequins in the flower centers from Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins.
- Ribbon: Petal Pink Diagonal Trim
- When a bow is too much, tie the ribbon in a simple knot and add it to your card.
