Sweetly Scripted Get Well

This week at Create with Stamping Friends, we have a sketch challenge. I followed this sketch pretty closely, using Sweetly Scripted (Get Well) for the banner across the faux pocket. Here’s the sketch:

And here’s my card:

Mine is a faux pocket, but you could make this a real pocket by running Tear & Tape down the sides and bottom only. How cute it would be for a gift card or a secret message!

Here’s what I did:
  • Summer Splash Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Summer Splash striped DSP (2024-26 In Color DSP), 5-1/4″x 4″
  • More Summer Splash DSP (flowered) for pocket, 2-3/4″x 2-1/4″, layered over Basic White, 2-3/8″x 2-5/8″ (“arrow” bottom cut)
    • Pop it up with Dimensionals after placing the floral spray~
  • Berry Burst Cardstock spray, Textured Floral Dies
  • Basic White strip for sentiment, 1/2″x 4-1/4″
    • Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set, Berry Burst ink
    • White Baker’s Twine, Tinsel Gems colored with Dark Berry Burst Blends

I know my blog has been pretty quiet this week. It will be through the beginning of next week as well. I’ve got four grandsons coming today (along with my son and daughter-in-law) and I’ve had to clean up my crafting spaces ~ the kitchen/dining area, guest room, laundry room. Makes me crave a she-shed! 😆 Perhaps one day…

See you in a few days,

  1. Hi, Karen! I came to see how you made your great card! Love it! Have lots of fun with those grandkids. Crafting is not nearly as fun as seeing them.

    • Thanks, Debbie! We had a wonderful weekend with the kids. It’s rare that we get to see all four at the same time. 🥰
