Eggs & Bunnies (for CCMC 810)

This week for Create With Connie & Mary we have a color challenge. It’s a soft, pastel palette ~ just right for Easter, which is right around the corner! I’ve got eggs & bunnies for you.

First the color board ~

I’m not usually one for the soft pastel colors, but I think with the skinny layer of Basic Gray to break up the softness, it works well!

What I used ~

• Basic White Cardstock for the base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″ and folded at 4-1/4″
• Soft Sea Foam for the first layer, 5-1/4″x 4″
• Basic Gray for the second layer, 5-1/16″ x 3-13/16″
• Soft Sea Foam 6″x 6″ DSP (Subtles) for the top layer, 5″x 3-3/4″
• Excellent Eggs Bundle
• Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder (Splatters)
• Deckled Rectangles for the sentiment strip

I used the three colors in the challenge to color the bunny egg, adding a few touches of gray. My sentiment is stamped with Basic Gray. And my three embellishment dots are from the Rainbow Dots pack.
