How about a little sparkle and shine for this weeks Pals Paper Arts challenge? Here is the banner that inspired my design:
I saw the square in the middle and went right for this square-shaped sentiment in my newly acquired “Six Sayings” host set.
I also have a new adhesive for vellum (thank you Pals for the conversation that made me aware of this awesome product!) It is a double sided tape, but doesn’t show through the vellum. Hooray! I can now use the pretty vellum papers that I have been avoiding for so long.
The base card and the ink are Pacific Point, a cool icy blue that I thought this card needed. I put the snowflake vellum over Whisper White. Silver Foil, silver Glimmer Paper, and rhinestones give this card all the sparkle and shine of a frozen winter scene. We used to call them silver frosts up in the northwest.
Thanks for stopping by today. Visit palspaperarts.com to see the rest of this week’s entries. Have a blessed day!

I LOVE snowflakes — it's no secret! This is a wonderful design! I think you've highlighted a fantastic sentiment for all of our Jewish friends who may be looking for something appropriate for Hanukkah. Thanks for playing along with Pals Paper Arts this week!
Great look, Karen! Love the Glimmer paper. It makes it all look so frosty! Thanks for playing with Pals Paper Arts.
Karen, This is just gorgeous! I love how you've paired this sentiment with the snowflakes to perfectly match this sketch – if I didn't know better, I'd think the sketch was created from your card. It's wonderful. Thank you so much for playing along with this week's Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge.
Thanks, Brian! Your comment made my day!
