A Lot Happens!

Wow, a lot happens when you’re gone! I just got back to California from a fantastic trip to the UK. We packed in a lot of the sites in London – didn’t see everything we wanted to, but caught several highlights. The second half of our trip was a train ride down to Kent, where my grandparents were from. I heard many stories as a child and now have pictures in my mind of where they grew up, worked, and married. Very special, indeed!

While I was traipsing through England, Stampin’ Up! was announcing a Flash Sale that started today: 15% off select dies! I’m glad that I’m home in time to take advantage of that!

Click HERE to see all the dies you can get at a discounted price. The special goes through Friday, Oct. 23. Keep in mind that you might get a better deal by purchasing the bundle (stamp set + dies) so it’s worth it to price it out. Some of the stand alone dies are a definite bargain.

When I got home, I had a UPS box waiting for me! Inside was this new Country Cottage DSP. I couldn’t wait to try it out, and put together a joy fold card with the hydrangea paper. This is a new, coming soon, online exclusive DSP and I think you’ll love it as much as I do!

Here’s a peek at the whole pack:

Isn’t it pretty? My card shows both sides of the hydrangea/Crumb Cake woodgrain paper. When you open it up, you see more of the beautiful DSP ~

Here’s what I used:

• Peaceful Pine Cardstock, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″, 5″x 3-1/2″ folded in half at 2-1/2″, and 5″x 3″ for Wrapped Greenery Die
• Country Cottage DSP, 6″x 5-1/4″ folded at 2″ on left side, and 3-1/4″x 2-1/4″
• Crumb Cake Cardstock, 3″x 2″
• Basic White Cardstock, 3-1/4″x 2-1/4″ for inside, and 2″x 1″ scrap for front sentiment
• Sentiments from Radiant Sunflowers Stamp Set in Peaceful Pine and Golden Glow ink

OK! Now I have 2 weeks worth of laundry to do, and a bunch of sleep to catch up on! It was worth every bit of it! 😊
