Fall Florals for October CC2C

Greetings from California with Fall Florals for our October Creating Coast to Coast! This month we begin with Rosanne’s card. She comes to us from Pennsylvania and called our theme this month. So let’s travel East to West from…

First off, here’s Rosanne’s gorgeous Fall Florals card:

Soooo pretty! You can read more about her card by clicking HERE to open her blog.

Now we zoom West to California for my card. I chose Autumn Opulence because, well, have you ever seen a prettier Stampin’ Up! Fall patterned paper?

Here’s my card:

I love these luscious colors! Pretty Fall Florals!

Here’s my Recipe:
  • Early Espresso Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock layer, 4″x 5-1/4″
  • Golden Glow Cardstock layer, 3-7/8″x 5-1/8″
  • Cajun Craze Cardstock layer, 3-1/2″x 4-1/4″
  • Autumn Opulence DSP, (3) 1″x 4″
  • Neutrals Jute, separated to one strand, dark beige color, wrapped and tied in a bow
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock, cropped from Tile Garden Dies, then altered from a square to a rectangle
    • Sentiment stamped with Pecan Pie from Lily of the Valley Stamp Set
  • Embellishments are one tiny acorn punch-out from Autumn Opulence DSP and one Pearls of Beauty gem

Tips: The punch outs that come with Autumn Opulence are printed on white paper, but the DSP is in the Vanilla category. To make the outline of these punch-outs blend better with my card, I lightly brushed a bit of Basic Beige around the edges of my acorn. You do have to tap off some ink from your brush though, or you’ll end up with a green tone instead of beige!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out our cards today! Enjoy the rest of the week!
