I’m taking a walk through the 2019-20 Annual Catalog and getting another look at the beautiful Designer Series Papers before they are gone. Yesterday I shared a new card I made using Woven Threads. If you missed it, you can see it here. Today I have pulled out Noble Peacock Specialty DSP and Foil Sheets along with some other items from the Noble Peacock Suite. I think this will make a stunning graduation card with its message, “It’s your time to shine.”
Materials & Measurements:
- Pretty Peacock Cardstock, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
- Noble Peacock Foil Sheet, Pretty Peacock, 5-1/4″x 4″
- Noble Peacock Spec. DSP, Pretty Peacock, 4-1/8″ square, angled and trimmed
- 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon
- Noble Peacock Foil Sheet, Old Olive, 5″x 2″
- Bermuda Bay Cardstock, 2-3/4″x 1/2″
- Cherry Blossoms Dies
- Noble Peacock Rhinestones
Quick & Easy Directions:
- To begin, angle the Noble Peacock DSP square and glue to the Pretty Peacock Foil Sheet. Trim off corners.
- Next, wrap the ribbon (approx. 12″) around the two layers and tie a bow.
- Then glue the layers to the card base.
- Stamp the sentiment using Pretty Peacock ink onto the Bermuda Bay strip, then glue to the front.
- Once your card is together, die cut the long branch from Cherry Blossoms Dies with Olive Foil and cut in half. Then adhere the two halves under the bow using Glue Dots.
- Add Old Olive rhinestones from the Noble Rhinestones pack to the sentiment strip.
- Very Vanilla Cardstock 5-1/4″x 4″ looks nice on the inside with your choice of stamps to fit your occasion.
