The Last Chance Product List has been released and all of the Designer Series Paper that we have enjoyed all year is about to retire. So today I thought I’d give another look at Woven Threads. It has been marked down to $4.60/pack! You may want to grab another one before it’s gone. Hopefully my design today will inspire you to do just that!
I picked the pattern with predominately Terracotta Tile and Sahara Sand, layered it with Whisper White on a Terracotta base. Then I topped it with Whisper White at an angle and trimmed off the points. Click here to take another look at all of the designs in the pack.

The stamp set I chose is part of the Woven Threads Suite, called Woven Heirlooms. I’m happy to announce that it will be in the new catalog along with the Heirlooms Dies (however no longer a bundle.) I stamped across the white cardstock with Sahara Sand ink, stamped off once onto scrap paper. The reason? Stamping off gives you a much softer image and is good for backgrounds. I stamped the sentiment onto Terracotta Tile Cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with White Emboss Powder.
On the inside, I glued a small strip of the DSP along the left side, then left the rest open for a personal note. You can see I also glued some Terracotta and Sahara Sand 6″x 6″ DSP to the envelope flap and ran a length of the ribbon bit across the seam.
The ribbon is our current In Color Scalloped Linen Ribbon. I cut off the Terracotta sides and looped one strand for a faux-bow under the layered circles. I also tucked in a length of Braided Linen Trim, then added three Terracotta Faceted Dots (also marked down to $3.90/pack!).
