You Color My World

This is my second post today! I want to sneak this one in before the deadline so I can enter it into the TGIF Challenge for this week! They have a great sketch and I wanted to use three coordinating papers from Stampin’ Up!’s Fancy Flora DSP. That led me to use this cute stamp by My Favorite Things called You Color My World.

First the sketch:

And here’s my card:

Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper looks like a painter’s palette. When I saw this, I thought my little girl stamp would work so well with it. I have a friend who is teaching me to paint, so this will be a thank you card for her!

Materials & Measurements:
  • Night of Navy Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
  • Fancy Flora DSP, three different patterns, (L to R, top to bottom) 3-3/8″x 2-3/8″, 3-3/8″x 1-1/2″, 4″x 1-3/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock for image, 3-1/2″x 2-1/2″
  • Stamp Set: You Color My World by My Favorite Things
  • Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Night of Navy, Blends Markers

  1. Beautiful! Thank you so much for the sketch and sample.

  2. Fantastic! I was always going to get that stamp of the little girl painting and now I wish I had. I have been dabbling in painted barn quilts and having a great time with those. Cheryl, my instructor, would love this card.

  3. Love this card. I am going to make tomorrow.. I don’t have that stamp but one similar.

  4. Such an awesome card, Karen! I love it! That particular DSP & colours you chose are bright & cheery and the little painter is such a cutie ❤
