Wisteria Wishes in Pinks

While we were in Greece on the island of Naxos, we saw gorgeous pink flowers everywhere. This photo, taken on a couple’s farm where we spent the day, is the inspiration for my card today, using Wisteria Wishes in pinks.

Check out the detail in the leaves of this Wisteria Dies set! So cute!

There was no shortage of color in Greece! I think going in May, we hit the peak of blooming season. But that vibrant blue (think Pacific Point!) was the water, the sky, the trim on houses, and the domes of churches. Here are a few more pictures from the day on the Naxos farm.

Farm owners, Yiannis and Maria, were our hosts for the day. Maria gave us a cooking lesson – stuffed vegetables from their garden, which we then shared for lunch along with some other tasty bites that she cooked up. Yiannis showed us his cheese-making room and inventory, all from his goats’ milk. What a fabulous day on the Greek farm!

  1. WOW Karen, I loved the photo and your card so such a perfect match. A good memory for sure. The day on the farm was amazing. How many were you? I am so glad you had such a wonderful time there. Thanks for sharing.
    Have a blessed day.

    • Thanks, Nancy! There were only two of us visiting the farm that day! It was a private tour, arranged for us. It was amazing!

  2. I am interested in going. Did you go to Athens and then book your tours from there?

  3. Beautiful card and BEAUTIFUL photos.

  4. Beautiful! Was your trip part of a tour group, or did you arrange it privately? It looks so amazing!

    • A little of both, Sherry. The day on the farm was arranged for us by a travel agent in Greece. She also arranged for day tours on other islands and some of our accommodations. Then we did some of our own arrangements as well. If you’re interested in going, I’d be happy to give you more details!
