Who’s the Best Dressed?

Who’s the best dressed lady on the block? Why it’s the one carrying this very stylish purse, of course! 🙂

Today finishes my walk through the catalogs, taking a look at all of the retiring Designer Series Papers. This one, Best Dressed, has been one of my favorites. I’ve used it a lot, yet still have quite a bit left to use up (I ordered a few!) This card is a bit fussier than my normal style, but hey! it’s fun to branch out once in awhile!

I’ve used this All Dressed Up Die to make 3-D purses, but I wondered if it could be cut down to fit on a card front. I just snipped along the score lines for the purse front and it worked out perfectly. The strip for the handles needed to be shortened a bit, but that was easy. Then I glued the ends to the back of the purse with Tear & Tape.

I fancied up the pocket with some of our Laser-cut DSP and added a (retired) Daffodil Delight Ribbon bow.

The sentiment on the front, and part of the one on the inside is from Beautiful You (retiring next week). I added “Always” from a new set called Field of Flowers. I used one of the Ornate Borders Dies to cut the left side of the sentiment strip.

Here are some more projects I’ve made with the Best Dressed DSP.

I hope you have enjoyed my look back at all of these papers. I’m happy to say I’ve enjoyed using them all. Now my focus will shift to the new papers in our upcoming catalog. We will get to order from it on June 3 ~ next Wednesday.
