I love the Welcoming Window paired with Plentiful Plants bundles. They go together beautifully! You may remember this card that I made last month using the same two bundles. This was one of the three cards I had the ladies make in my card class this month. The sunny yellow window just beckons you to come in, doesn’t it?
Here’ s close-up look at the two bundles ~
Card Details:
- So Saffron card base at 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
- So Saffron layer, embossed with Pinewood Planks* (retired), at 5-1/4″x 4″
- In Good Taste DSP (ON SALE NOW) for window box and shutters
- Crushed Curry and Basic White cardstocks for window; Basic White for label and hanging plant, stamped with Garden Green ink
- Basic Black for shutter brackets
- Cinnamon Cider for plant pot
- Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP (ON SALE NOW) for plant, fussy cut
- Sunny Sentiments stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black
Dimensionals give the plants some lift. The window box or ledge has a double thickness of Mini Dimensionals.
Think of the color combination possibilities with this card! You could make a whole set, each in a different color palette.
*If you don’t have the old Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder, a couple good substitutes would be the Bark 3D Embossing Folder (#155431) or the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder (#149643).
