Waterside Retreat (CASE)

We are just zipping through July! This is our fourth CASE of the catalog for the month with Relaxing Waterside Bundle on page 55. I love an Adirondack chair and was excited to see this one back in our catalog!

Here’s the challenge:

And here’s what I made:

I took a bit of a left turn on this one! I did get three of the elements on my card, but I chose to place my chair on this beach scene from Waterside Retreat DSP. Can you see yourself relaxing here with a cup of coffee and a good book? I sure can!

Recipe:

• Pecan Pie Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
• Misty Moonlight Cardstock layer, 5-1/4″x 4″
• Waterside Retreat DSP, 5-1/8″x 3-7/8″
• Chair, coffee, book, and sentiment stamped on Basic White and cropped with Relaxing Waterside Dies (sentiment strip cut to 1-3/4″x 7/8″ with flagged end), colored with Blends

On the inside I layered Misty Moonlight under Basic White and added a couple of stamps.

My cup is colored with Balmy Blue Blends. The steam is Smoky Slate. I colored the book with Peaceful Pine Blends. The chair is a mix of browns.

Now I want to go to the beach!
