Trimming the Town

Here’s more Trimming the Town for Christmas in our little fictitious village! For this card, I did not use any stamps on the front!

This is completely done with the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper (on sale now!) and the Home Together Dies! I cut three snow hills with Whisper White, cropped the houses and trees from the DSP with the dies, then pieced them all together.

Here is a close up view. You can see that I just tucked the houses behind the tops of the snow hills. Here’s a tip: run your glue on the bottom and sides of the snow hills only. Leave the tops free to tuck pieces in. The houses and trees are glued down, so everything stays neatly in place.

The ribbon and tree decorations are also part of this Suite. If you like all the elements, you may as well purchase the whole Suite. Here is what you’ll get when you do:

By the way, the sentiment strip is from the DSP too. One sheet has sentiment strips all over it, all Christmas messages in different languages. Just cut the ones you want to use!
