Thoughtful Journey Get Well

Welcome to another Thursday and Create with Stamping Friends! This week we have a sketch challenge, and it put me through a “thoughtful journey” to achieve the look I was going for! I ended up with a Thoughtful Journey Get Well card.

Here’s the sketch:

And here’s my card:

Perhaps more of a challenge than making this card will be telling you how I made it! I’m certain no two of these cards will look alike!

Here’s what I used:
  • Mossy Meadow Cardstock base, 8-1/2″ 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Mossy Meadow layer, 5-3/8″x 4-1/8″
  • Linen Thread wrapped around the layer and tied in a bow
  • 7 Perennial Postage Dies squares, cut from random spots on a 6″x 6″ piece of Thoughtful Journey DSP, each square 1-3/8″
  • Sentiment from Unbounded Love, stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder
  • 3 Iridescent Faceted Gems

All of the squares are glued down to the Mossy Meadow layer except the one that straddles the Linen Thread. That one is popped up on Dimensionals. For the ones that hang over the edge, trim them with scissors or your Paper Trimmer.

I really love these colors in the DSP! I was somewhat surprised to see that the last time I posted a card with Thoughtful Journey, I used this same particular sheet of paper! Hmmmm, I guess I like it! 😄 See that card HERE.

Now head over to Create with Stamping Friends to check out what the others made!

Have a great week!
