This is too easy!

This is seriously the easiest card to make! And isn’t it stunning? It’s the artwork in the new pack of Designer Series Paper coming out in January that makes it so! It’s called New Horizons. It is a 6″x 6″ pack of paper – 48 sheets – 4 each of 12 designs. And they are spectacular! This one struck me as a frozen pond in front of snow-topped roofs at the foot of mountains (Rorschach Ink Blot, anyone?)

So I trimmed it down to fit an A-2 size card (5-1/8″x 3-7/8″) with a Magenta Madness layer behind (5-1/4″x 4″) and glued it to a Night of Navy base. I stamped Merry Christmas from the stamp set, Heartfelt Wishes in Navy. Done. Almost.

See my little blooper? I left it there to show you that this stamp easily leaves an extra mark where you don’t want it, so be careful not to rock the stamp at all. You might want to take a tissue to the edge before stamping. When you’re stamping directly onto the DSP, you don’t want bloopers! But I fixed it by adding a snowflake right over the booboo. It even looks intentional! 🙂
