I’m calling this “Tag Week,” for obvious reasons! I am a busy little elf, making tags to sell on Saturday. A plug for Curves in Roseville, CA – the owner is holding her annual Open House Dec.1 between 2:00 – 5:00. There will be vendors and food, photo ops, and raffle prizes. Drop in if you are local to the area. It should be lots of fun! I will be using my sales to benefit the relief efforts for the residents in Paradise, who lost their homes in the recent Camp Fire. So come, buy some goodies, and help the cause!
I adore the images in Seasonal Chums, and I’ve used the snowman and reindeer with the matching Seasonal Tags on these. Do you see that cute gingham plaid in the background? That’s a sneak peek at some DSP to come in the Occasions Catalog in January.
I tried a little something different on the bottom of these tags. Do you like the way they turned out? I used a Stitched Shape oval (second to biggest) and cropped it half out. A picture here is worth a million words, because I don’t know how to describe it adequately!
Tips: When using your framelit like this to crop the bottom off your tag, run it through your Big Shot bottom end first, and only run it through until you hear it cut. You know that “clunk” sound? Then back it up and bring it out the original side. That way you will avoid the indenting that happens if you run it all the way through the machine. The pressure will create an unwanted bump from the top of the framelit. If you don’t know what I mean, you will “get it” as soon as you try it!
Here is the set of snowman tags. Each is slightly different.
And here is the reindeer. I think he is just too cute! I made a set of four, all exactly the same for this one. The DSP behind him is from Under the Mistletoe, accented with Old Olive. The little trees (and the snowflakes behind the snowmen) are also from the Seasonal Tags Framelits set. All of the coloring was done with Stampin’ Blends.
I hope you are having a great week! Now I must get back to Santa’s workshop to make some more tags….

You HAVE been a very busy elf! Love these tags with the Seasonal Chums stamps! Great idea to change the bottom of the tags by using the oval framelit. TFS
Wow…WOW!
These are just wonderful and your pictures….spot on! Tags make such a difference and you showcased them perfectly!
Adorable. My stuff is not up to your quality but I hope they sell. Thanks for the reminder about the bottom and how to use the die. I have never tried it but thought about it. Like they say, a photo is worth a thousand words! It looks good. All are so festive and your coloring is wonderful esp. on the deer!
Oh Karen, what a great little tip for the bottom of the tag. It is a nice touch.
Have a blessed day.
