So Santa!

Happy Wednesday and Happy Thanksgiving Eve! By all rights, I should be posting a Thanksgiving card, and maybe I’ll get one out later. But right now I am coloring So Santa and thought I’d share a 3 x 3 tag with you ~

He is pretty snazzy in his red suit and sparkly hat. And oh, so modern on his little Vespa! I colored him with my Blends after stamping him with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Next I cropped him out with a Layering Circle Framelit and glued him over Under The Mistletoe DSP. The DSP is glued to a white card base and I punched a hole in the left corner for a tie string.

Here is a sample of what I did on the inside. The sentiment strip is glued to a slightly larger piece of the same DSP as the front, then I flagged the ends. The little sprig is from the Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits Dies. I cut two – one of green and one of red, then glued the red berries into the holes of the green piece. If your eagle eye is wondering why this one has Spruce Ribbon attached to it, I say “Very Observant!” I made a few with slightly different colors but used the same papers inside and out.

Now off to the kitchen to start cooking! Will you be hosting Thanksgiving at your house? Or are you traveling to share dinner with family? Whatever you are doing, I wish you a safe and happy holiday. We have much to be thankful for and remember that “Thanksgiving” turned around says “Giving thanks!”

Gratefully Yours,

  1. Love your tags, Karen! Hope your Thanksgiving is especially happy, and that if you are doing all the cooking, someone else does the clean up!

  2. Really cute. Love your coloring. Have a good thanksgiving. Safe travels. Home today by ourselves but Saturday we go to his dad’s about 15 miles away. Lots of deer but we are going for a noon thing so we should be fine.
