What is sweeter than Valentine hearts and candy? Answer: Nothing! Here’s a card using Sweet Talk (DSP) for CCMC702:
Today’s Thursday challenge over at Create With Connie and Mary is a Color Challenge. And perfect for Valentine’s Day, the colors are Real Red, Blushing Bride, and Highland Heather. Pretty sweet!
You may recognize this layout from a previous challenge. I enjoyed it so much I decided to use it again for this card!
Card Details:
- Real Red Cardstock base, 5-1/2″x 8-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
- Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper, cut into three panels of 2-5/8″x 4″, 1″x 4″, and 1-3/8″x 4″
- Two double layered hearts punched from the Heart Punch Pack using Highland Heather Cardstock and Sweet Talk DSP
- Real Red Cardstock sentiment strip, 3/8″x 4″, angle-cut at ends
- Sentiment from Forever Blossoms Stamp Set, stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder
I glued the pink hearts to the purple scalloped hearts. Then I glued each piece flat to the base except for the top heart. That one I adhered with Dimensionals. The sentiment strip was glued to that top heart and secured on the right end with a Dimensional.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you! You really DO mean so much to me! Click HERE to see what the rest of the Design Team made for this color challenge.
