SWAPs! Such a fun way to share…

As you might have heard, last week was World Card Making Day. And I had my team get together to swap cards with each other and enjoy a morning of crafting and visiting. I also received some cards in the mail to celebrate WCMD. I thought it would be fun to share some of their cards with you!

Beth was the first person to join Stampin’ Up! under me! We were a Team of 2 for awhile! She has been such a good friend and her card making skills are amazing. We enjoy lots of stamping time together!

Connie is my new Stampin’ friend. She moved to our area recently and is not near her team of stampers, so we’ve adopted her into our little community! This card shows her talents and crafting abilities – Wow!

Irma is another member of my Stamping Habit team. She not only gave us this adorable pickup truck card, but she made us each the following treat box for Halloween!

So fun!

Julie mailed us her cards – all the way from Kentucky! The sparkle from this Glitter Paste is beautiful and textural. It’s a card that you just can’t stop touching!

Shila is another long-time friend and now Stampin’ buddy and team member that I enjoy getting together with to craft on several occasions. I love her layering on this traditional Christmas card.

Not a team member, but a fellow Top Dog under Susan Itell, Alene made this swap card that I was fortunate enough to receive during WCMD week! Like Julie’s card, the texture on this one is rich! So pretty, Alene! Thank you again.

Wendy is someone I’ve not met, but we share the joy of making and sending cards! She sent me this beauty in celebration of WCMD. Her sponging technique is among the best I’ve ever seen. Gorgeous, Wendy! Thank you!

  1. You have some pretty talented people!

  2. Hi, Karen. I always enjoy your posts and today’s was no exception. Really gorgeous cards from some obviously very talented friends! I’m wondering what the glitter paste you mentioned on a couple cards is. I didn’t see it in the SU catalog – on the one card, it’s silver and another embossed with that mask in white. I love its effects and would love to have the product. Thanks for sharing.

    • Hi! Isn’t it pretty? I will have to ask Julie to be certain, but I think she used the Embossing Paste on page 181 called Shimmery White (matte finish with subtle sparkle).

  3. Love these.

  4. Such amazing artistry! These cards are all fabulous. Lucky you to receive such beauty!
