Splash & Relax (for CSF921)

Splash & Relax is my latest acquisition from Stampin’ Up! It’s perfectly fun for summer cards. I used the sketch from this week’s sketch challenge at Create with Stamping Friends to get me started.

Here’s the sketch:

And here’s my card:

My favorite part of this bundle is the pair of flip flops! The torn paper portion of the sketch looks like a sandy beach to me, so I used strips of torn Woven Textures DSP to make hills of sand.

Here are my different elements:
  • Sand: Woven Textures DSP
  • Flip Flops and banner: Everyday Essentials Mix & Match DSP with Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight Cardstock
  • Sunglasses: Misty Moonlight Cardstock and Silver Foil
  • Sun and sky: Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight ink brushed onto Basic White with Blending Brushes
  • Sentiment from Splash & Relax in Misty Moonlight ink

My base card is Misty Moonlight Cardstock, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″. The banner measures 2-1/4″x 1-1/4″ and is attached with Dimensionals. The sun, after brushing with Daffodil Delight ink onto Basic White, is the circle die in Splash & Relax.

Here’s a look at this cute bundle:

The textured flip flops won me over, but the lidded drink and the sunglasses are also adorable!
