Earlier today, I posted about my upcoming product shares from the new January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. If you missed it, see it HERE. I’m going to share a sneak peek of one of the papers included in my Product Share called Symbols of Fortune. This is a Specialty DSP because of the gorgeous gold foiling embedded in the paper. I’ve made this design into a birthday card.
Isn’t that paper beautiful?!!! I’m drawn to any DSP with gold foil accents, but this gingko plant print really caught my eye. It’s a combination of Gray Granite, Basic White, and Gold Foil.
Card Recipe:
- Gray Granite Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
- Basic White layer, 5 1/4″x 4″
- Symbols of Fortune Specialty DSP, 5-1/8″x 3-7/8″
- Gold 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon, 6″
- Potted Succulents Dies, Gold Foil Sheet and Basic White Cardstock
- Best Year Stamp Set
- Brushed Brass Butterflies
Simple Assembly!
- Glue the DSP to the Basic White layer.
- Place the ribbon across the lower third of the DSP/white layers and glue ends to the back with Stampin’ Seal.
- Glue the two layers with ribbon over the Gray Granite card base.
- Stamp the sentiment to a 3-1/4″x 1-3/4″ piece of Basic White Cardstock using Versamark Ink. Pour gold embossing powder over the inked portion, tap off the excess, and heat set with a Heat Tool.
- Crop out the sentiment with the long label from Potted Succulents Dies.
- Crop out a 2″x 2-1/4″ piece of Gold Foil Sheet with another of the Potted Succulent Dies.
- Glue the two labels together using Stampin’ Seal and glue them to the card front, centering over the ribbon.
- Add a tiny Brushed Brass Butterfly. [These Brass Butterflies are one of the 1/2 embellishment packs that you can receive as a free gift when you reserve my “Whole Enchilada” Share #4!]
This paper will be available for purchase on January 4, 2022. Get a sampling of it before you commit to the whole pack by reserving a Paper Share with me. Reservations will close on Monday, Dec. 27.
See you on Wednesday when Rosanne and I team up for CASEing Coast to Coast!
Have a wonderful day ~
