Sneak Peek of Pansy Petals

Happy Monday to you! Today I took an older layout by Linda Heller and made a card using the new (so excited!) Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. This paper has all of the new In Colors in it, so it is easy to match up with any of the five. This is a sneak peek of Pansy Petals. It will become available on May 4.

I decided to make the base out of Evening Evergreen, which is the background color of this pansy paper. I added two embossed rectangles of Soft Succulent, then added a bow made from the pretty new Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon. This ribbon comes in all of the new In Colors!

The sentiment is one from the coordinating Pansy Patch Stamp Set. I stamped it with Evening Evergreen and layered two strips to create the banner.

The bottom of the front is 1/4″ shorter than the back. To the bottom of the inside, I glued a 3/8″x 5-1/2″ strip of another piece of the Pansy Petals DSP that has both Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent in a stripe. Then I stamped a pansy and leaves from the stamp set.
