Let’s talk about these gorgeous new In Colors! I’m very excited about the color choice this year. They will lend nicely to some beautiful floral imagery. Take a look ~
At first glance you might think, “We already have those colors!” But when you put them side by side with our other colors you’ll see that they are not only different, but that they compliment what we have very nicely. For example…
Fresh Freesia is a very pale pinky lilac tone, not unlike Purple Posy which we never got the ink for, so I’m happy to see this color come in!
Polished Pink is a dusty rose color that looks to me like a brown-tone of pink, much softer than either Magenta Madness or Melon Mambo. Very nail polish pink!
Evening Evergreen is a neutral-tone grayish green. It reminds me of Almost Artichoke. Remember that one?
This color couldn’t be more aptly named. Soft Succulent looks just like the succulent plants that grow along the coast here in California or in my parents’ home down in Arizona. Again, grayer than the others, it looks like it might be one of those colors that could look green or blue, depending on what it is next to.
Pale Papaya is the perfect in-between color – not too pink but not too orange. This will be a fun color to play with, especially with the peach DSP that is coming in!
