Simply Zinnia (for CCMC 813)

This week at Create With Stamping Friends, we have a fun sketch challenge! After yesterday’s garden theme at the Pals Blog Hop, I was into it! I used Flowering Zinnias DSP, Simply Zinnia Stamp Set for the sentiment, and Garden Meadow Stamp Set for the images. Here’s our sketch:

Fun, yes? Are you longing for Spring gardening?

Details:
  • Melon Mambo Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock layer, 5-1/8″x 3-7/8″
    • Add texture to the top 4″ with Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
    • Stamp the sentiment from Simply Zinnia at the bottom of this white panel using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • Flowering Zinnias DSP, 3-7/8″x 1″
  • Berry Burst Cardstock, four 1-1/4″ squares
  • Basic White, four 1″ squares from Stylish Shapes Dies
  • Images from Garden Meadow, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black
    • Crop with coordinating dies, color with Blends, and glue to the white squares, cutting off the overlap as desired. Notice I let the handle of the watering can go outside the edge.
  • Add a white Baker’s Twine bow.
