It’s a happy day in Granite Bay! The strawberry stands opened today and I was right there to buy some yummy local berries! I’ll be buying several baskets next week to put up some of my fresh strawberry jam.
But for now, I brought them home and reached for the Tutti Frutti DSP and the Fruit Basket stamp set. Such a cute, yet simple, birthday card to brighten someone’s day!
This is super simple and quick to make. It would be a great formula for a set of note cards to give as a gift.
Start with a Whisper White Note Card & Envelope. Layer Night of Navy and the strawberry print from Tutti Frutti DSP. Wrap Night of Navy Crinkled Ribbon around the two layers vertically and tie a bow. Then adhere the top layers to the base card.
I stamped the sentiment from Fruit Basket using Navy ink onto Whisper White and ran it through the Big Shot with a Layering Ovals Framelit. Then I layered that onto a scalloped oval of Night of Navy. I glued this directly to the card. I stamped the tiny strawberry with Real Red and Garden Green. I punched it out using the strawberry punch from Itty Bitty Fruit Punch Pack then popped it up on the card with a Mini Dimensional.
I stamped the birthday message and strawberry from Fruit Basket on the inside, and two more strawberries on the front corner of the envelope.
Do you love this set? It is retiring May 31st, but it may be sold out before then, so get your order in now! Click HERE to order.
